Baby Bells Fruit Tray

11/21/11 9:33 AM

Baby Bell Tangelo Fruit TrayAs you know, citrus comes in a variety of flavors and options. Some are sweet, some are tangy, and some are sweet and tangy. There are obviously more choices than the ones I just listed, but I think you get my point. One of the rarer forms of citrus happens to be the honeybell, which is known for it's juicy sweetness that only comes during a couple months out of the year. Why? Simply put, the climate conditions do not allow us to grow them all year round, and that's why they are a rarity to find. You can typically find honeybells during the end of December - Janurary, but I'd like to introduce you to a new honeybell called baby bells.

Baby Bell tangelos are a favorite for us, because they offer the same sweet juice as their bigger brother the Honeybell. They also make a great size snack that's perfect for those on-the-go. If you order honeybells before the January 1 Shipping date we automatically will add $1 to the price and send the recipient a Festive Gift Card letting them know your gift is on the way!

Again, baby bells are related to the honeybell which means that you can only get these during Janurary. Our new countertop box will come fitted with 13 baby bell tangelos that will surely put a smile on your face each time you grab one to eat. We have a variety of trays to choose from that range from 25-50 baby bells depending on your needs.

Our customer service team can help you decide how much to order. Just give us a call at (386) 252-7462. We are located in Daytona Beach, Florida at 248 South Beach Street. Our store is open 9-5 M-F and 9-2 on Saturday.

Our packing location may be located in Daytona Beach, Florida; however, our groves are located along the Indian River in Florida. This is arguably the perfect environment to grow all types of fruit, but is mainly known for producing some of the best citrus around. For over 90 years, Davidson Brothers has offered quality fruit to customers and continues to follow their tradition.

Eating fruit is healthy for you, but when it's covered in pesticides and ripened with chemicals, you're left wondering how healthy it really is. At Davidson Brothers we don't use chemicals to speeden up the ripening process, instead, we allow our oranges to tree ripen so that it's the "proper" type of ripe.

Along the Eastern seaboard of Central Florida runs the Indian River. On the river banks, the Anastasia limestone soil is rich in calcium and all the right nutrients for growing the world's best citrus. The combination of the enriched soil, gentle rains, Florida Sunshine, tropical ocean breeze, along with our hard work and special care allows us to bring you premium tree ripened citrus-thin skinned, extra sweet and super juicy.

Buy from Davidson Brothers the next time you're thinking about getting fruit. Our Indian River Fruit is unlike anything you'll find in stores.

Honeybell oranges are a very popular choice for citrus lovers. In some ways the Honeybell can be called a delicacy due to it's sensitivity to the cold and other elements. Honeybells also require special care when packaging as to not damage the outside. It takes a specially trained team that cares about their product, and we at Davidson Brothers have the care it takes to bring you the best Honeybells around.

Our Honeybell season is quickly approaching (January). Due to the nature of Honeybells we strongly suggest planning ahead to ensure you get them during their peak flavor. Honeybells can be considered a hybrid fruit -- half tangerine and grapefruit; although, most people still consider them to be oranges.
