Florida Honeybell Season is HereOriginally thought to be named after Minneola, Florida, Davidson Brothers calls them Honeybells. We'd like to invite you to participate in our yearly Honeybell season by making sure your order is placed well in advanced ahead of January. This will let us know how much demand we have for Honeybells this year.

At Davidson Brothers we have many fruit trays, and baskets filled with this wonderful rarity from Florida. And like all things grow in our groves, it's been tree-ripened to perfection. We refrain from using harmful chemicals that can cause damage to the plant and to your health.

Why are Honeybells so good?

Honeybells are grown in the coldest time of the year for Florida, which is why their season is so short. The cold creates a sweet fruit that is unlike anything you can find in the store, and in some ways they resemble the sticky goodness of a tangerine. The peel on the outside is a good indicator that what you're about to partake in is a rich delicate fruit that is completely unique in appearance.

Honeybells are one of our favorites at Davidson Brothers and we encourage you to place an order for this year's season. If you need help ordering the correct amount, just give our customer service team a call at (386) 252-7462.

HoneybellsIf you thought all "oranges" were created equally, you were wrong.  There are so many varieties of oranges that you'd have a hard time trying all of them. Oranges are not the only type of citrus though. We also have Tangerines, Tangelos, Grapefruits, and more. The particular type of citrus we'd like to introduce to you is the Jumbo Honeybell.

Honeybells are typically grown in cold climate during the month of January, and then it's time to wait another year before they're back in season. Honeybells are known for their amazing taste that many consider to be a cross between a Tangerine and Orange. They are also delicate, which makes them a little more of a challenge to handle. However, we take great care when handpicking your fruit from our groves along the Indian River.

Our honeybells are also tree-ripened just like the rest of our fruit, which means that the fruit is ready-to-eat when it arrives at your door. We ensure the utmost care, respect, and quality of the product. If you have any concerns, comments, or questions don't hesitate to call us at (386) 252-7462.
